It's Strawberry Time!!!

Good morning ladies. Here in Michigan we are in the midst of strawberry season. There is nothing like red, plump and juicy strawberries that melt in your mouth. We have several fruit stands and those beat the store brand anytime.

I shared the other day I have been studying the gospels for the past couple of months. In the book of Mark chapter 4 the parable of the sower is told. Both Matthew and Luke also tell the same parable. We will be looking at this parable for the next couple of days.

Here are Jesus' words, read it slow and meditate for today on it.
“Listen! A sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. 5 Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil, and immediately it sprang up, since it had no depth of soil. 6 And when the sun rose, it was scorched, and since it had no root, it withered away. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain. 8 And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.” 9 And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Mark 4:3-9 (ESV)

Like the yummy strawberries I have enjoyed lately, Jesus uses seeds and fruit to talk about our spiritual lives. Take some time to ponder this spiritual truth and I will see you next time!

In Christ Alone,

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning Satan says, "Oh crud, she's up".
