Hello Ladies;

Today is Gratituesday. It is the day where we stop and thank God for our blessings. Remember I told you our precious son crashed our car in the middle of the freeway into a concrete wall? He hit a car in the next lane as he was spinning out of control. The car was totaled and thankfully we were insured. The car was a 2004 Trailblazer which I really enjoyed.

So it was time for car shopping. It was announced the next day at church that we would need a good car, cheap. A man came forward with a car he was selling for an old family member. Come to find out this car had been stored up on blocks in a garage all covered up. It is a 1986 Buick LeSabre with only 31,500 miles, original miles and everything is original. It is considered an antique car. I got in and fell in love. The whole dash board is so different then our dashes today. It has a cassette tape/radio combination. The steering wheel is small and very skinny. It has a front bench seat and a pretty large trunk to fit hubby’s 4 wheeler. The price was perfect.

Since sitting for more than 13 years the car needs a few things like a new gas tank, all hoses, brakes and new tires. She will run like a kitten by the end of the week. I love the thought of a cute, sassy and old car to drive around town in. Life is good. Of course, next time son wants to drive in a snow storm my answer might be a tad different!

In all seriousness, God is still faithful and indeed helped us get what we needed. He never fails to provide what we need.

I am truly grateful. Thank you Father.
