Day 7 The Finger of God

Tonight we were watching an old film called The Agony and the Ecstasy. Charlton Heston plays Michelangelo. Before the movie starts it shows a mini-documentary concerning Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel. I had no idea he never wanted to paint. He believed his gift was sculpting. They showed many of his sculptures and the Finger of God fascinated me since I have read about it twice in our reading in only a few days.

What is even more amazing is the gifts that God gave to the artisans who were called to build the tabernacle. There are several scriptures where Moses wrote God gave the men the ability to be excellent tradesmen for the building of the tabernacle.

In other words, when God calls, he also equips.

Think about it.

In Christ Alone,

Jill
